自我介紹
Hi there, I’m Mika, a local guide from Kagawa. Kagawa may seem off the beaten path, but it’s truly a hidden gem. In less than an hour from Okayama Station, you can reach us via the Marine Liner, enjoying stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea from the iconic Seto-ohashi Bridge. For even easier access, you can fly to Takamatsu Airport, your gateway to Kagawa.
Kagawa Prefecture, known as Sanuki during the samurai era, has been a key hub for sea travel for thousands of years. Emperors, lords, and merchants journeyed here by ship, and the region developed strong ties with past governments. Its art and food culture flourished early on. As a local guide, I’m excited to show you the rich history, vibrant art, and delicious food of Sanuki, along with the breathtaking scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.
What’s Exciting in Kagawa:
・Ritsurin Garden: A Michelin three-star certified Japanese historical garden and a visual treat.
・Kotohiragu Shrine: An Edo-period popular destination, revered as the God of the sea.
・Yashima Area: One of the first national parks, offering stunning views of the archipelago and the site of a famous 12th-century battle. The Shikoku Mura Museum is a captivating open-air museum, while the Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum is an inspiring showcase of the renowned artist’s works.
・Island Hopping: Discover not only breathtaking views but also contemporary art and rich history in Naoshima, Teshima, and Shodoshima.
・Shikoku Pilgrimage: Kagawa is part of this sacred journey, featuring 88 temples to explore.
・Exclusive Experiences: From making Udon noodles to shopping at Japan’s longest shopping arcade, and more.
Let’s plan your Kagawa adventure, tailored to your interests and wishes. Kagawa is ready to welcome you with rich culture, deep history, and unforgettable experiences.
I can’t wait to show you around.
